Transaction, publisher of record in international social science, was
founded in 1962. Nearly 3500 of the approximately 5000 titles published by
Transaction still remain in print. Transaction currently publishes
approximately 120 new titles in all disciplines of the social sciences.
The Transaction Periodicals Consortium publishes more than 25 scholarly
and professional journals, including Transaction's flagship publication,
Society. It also issues more than twenty annual and serial publications,
also aimed at the international social scientific marketplace.
